COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE • $25–$30/hr • Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM • Direct Hire ROLE IMPACT You’ll play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy, vendor satisfaction, and payroll reliability — all while freeing up executive bandwidth and building your own leadership path. Your contributions will directly support operational growth and team efficiency. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Manage accounts payable and ensure timely vendor payments to maximize quick-pay discounts • Assist in payroll processing, reviewing time entries and resolving clocking issues prior to Controller approval • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, including credit card and project records in QuickBooks • Set up new projects and maintain accurate financial records across platforms • Prepare invoices, account statements, and financial reports; assist with customer billing and discrepancy resolution MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • 4+ years of accounting experience including A/P and payroll processing • Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop, Excel, and Microsoft Office Suite • Strong attention to detail with excellent communication and math skills • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines CORE TOOLS & SYSTEMS • QuickBooks Desktop • Microsoft Teams • Microsoft Excel • Microsoft Outlook • Microsoft Word PREFERRED SKILLS • QuickBooks Certified User accreditation (or enrolled) • Knowledge of Texas Sales Tax laws • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent experience LEGAL NOTICE By applying for this job, you agree to receive calls, AI-generated calls, text messages, or emails from CornerStone and its affiliates, and contracted partners.
