Qualifications Minimum active favorable T5 (TOP SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE) Experience conducting DCSA/NBIB background investigations within the past 12 months with proof of NTS certification Ability to interact professionally with diverse individuals Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment with limited supervision Strong organizational, scheduling, and prioritization skills High level of confidentiality, ethics, and integrity Proficient writing and communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to use public transportation if practical; driving is essential Maintain sufficient motor vehicle insurance as required Responsibilities Conduct background investigations to determine employment suitability for persons requiring access to sensitive or classified U.S. Government information, primarily supporting DCSA. Tasks include face-to-face interviews, record searches, and reporting findings via government computer systems. Investigators work remotely from home, with travel within a 50-mile radius or more based on needs, and expenses are reimbursed. Note: Marijuana use is prohibited for this federal position regardless of state laws.
