Banking and Finance Attorney – Staff Attorney or Junior Associate (Charlotte, NC)
Direct Counsel is seeking a Staff Attorney or Junior Associate to join a leading corporate and commercial finance practice within a well-established law firm in Charlotte, NC.
In this role, you will work closely with a dynamic deal team, supporting a broad range of secured commercial lending and finance transactions. This includes syndicated and bilateral bank financings, asset-based lending, acquisition financings, and commodity financings.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft and review transaction documents in connection with commercial lending and finance matters
Provide hands-on support to senior attorneys across multiple active transactions
Manage timelines and deliverables in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate closings
Qualifications:
1–3 years of experience in banking and finance, corporate, or transactional law (law firm experience preferred)
Strong academic credentials
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to efficiently balance responsibilities across multiple matters
