Job Description

Gimlet Labs is building the foundation for the next generation of AI applications. As generative AI workloads rapidly scale, inference efficiency is becoming the critical bottleneck. Gimlet is redefining AI inference from the ground up, combining cutting-edge research with an integrated hardware-software stack that delivers breakthrough performance, efficiency, and model quality.Gimlet pairs its inference stack with a seamless developer experience, allowing users to deploy, manage, and monitor AI workloads from frameworks like PyTorch and LangChain at production scale in seconds.

Gimlet is spun out of a Stanford research project under Professors Zain Asgar and Sachin Katti. The founding team has deep experience across AI, distributed systems, and hardware with previous successful exits.

Gimlet Labs is seeking a Chief of Staff. As a Chief of Staff, you will be a strategic partner to the leadership team, ensuring the company operates efficiently and scales effectively. You will drive high impact initiatives across multiple functions, including operations, recruiting, finance, marketing, and product. Your role will involve streamlining processes, optimizing workflows, and identifying opportunities for growth. Additionally, you will act as a liaison between internal and external stakeholders, cultivating strong relationships with clients and partners to support the company’s long-term success.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure smooth day-to-day operations, leading initiatives to drive productivity and company growth.

  • Lead cross-team initiatives across operations, recruiting, finance, marketing, product, and more.

  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and partners.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in consulting, operations, or related strategic and analytical roles.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively and professionally.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience at a startup or rapidly growing company.

  • Experience with financial modeling, budgeting, and business planning.

  • Strong foundation in data analysis.
