We're seeking a Construction Helper in Tampa, FL to support mechanical installation teams on commercial construction projects and develop valuable trade skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist pipefitters, plumbers, and HVAC technicians with material handling and tool preparation

• Load and unload trucks, transport materials to work areas

• Perform site cleanup and maintain organized work zones

• Operate basic hand tools and assist with equipment setup

• Help with measuring, cutting, and preparing materials as directed

• Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE

• Participate in daily safety meetings and training sessions

• Support quality control through attention to detail and following instructions

Requirements

Must-Haves

• High school diploma or GED

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various weather conditions

• Reliable transportation to job sites

• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

• Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team

• Basic math skills

Nice-to-Haves

• Previous construction or warehouse experience

• OSHA 10 certification

• Familiarity with hand and power tools

• Bilingual English/Spanish
