Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Design Engineer based in Cheyenne, WY, with the flexibility to work from home. The Design Engineer will be responsible for creating and refining designs for cabinets, utilizing Cabinet Vision software to produce detailed drawings and engineering specifications. Key tasks include collaborating with designers, the engineering and production teams, ensuring functional and aesthetic design standards, analyzing project requirements, and troubleshooting technical challenges. The role involves active participation in product design, reviewing specifications, and integrating mechanical and electrical system considerations.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Design Engineering using Cabinet Vision.
• Strong understanding of Mechanical Engineering principles and applications
• Knowledge of reading and understanding commercial and residential floorplans.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to collaborate in a team environment and communicate ideas effectively
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and sustainability considerations is a plus
