Job Description

We are searching for an Entry Level Administrative Assistant to oversee the processing and support of various forms of correspondence between insurance policy holders, providers, and claimants. This is an onsite, contract-to-hire position that pays $17 per hour.  

Job Responsibilities

• Assist with the setup of new workers’ compensation claims
• Request information from providers, injured employees, and insureds via phone, email, fax, and mail
• Handle inbound and outbound telephone calls to obtain pertinent medical and claim information
• Create and distribute claim forms and correspondence
• Process work assignments timely while adhering to Service Level Agreement parameters established by company policies and procedures
• Perform mathematical calculations to process appropriate payments to claimants, providers, and third-party vendors

Job Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Computer proficient with experience in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship, now or in the future.
