Job Title: General Production Workers $19.50 an hour

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated General Production Workers who will play a crucial role in inspecting and stacking lumber. This position requires individuals who are reliable, can work on their feet for an entire shift, and thrive in a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Inspect wood for defects and mark them accordingly.
• Pick up and stack lumber from the production line.
• Work in either the lumber stacking area or the inspection area, depending on the assignment.
• Participate in a physically demanding role by lifting and stacking lumber or focus on detailed inspection tasks.

Essential Skills

• Reliability and punctuality.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Team collaboration skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in production, warehouse, or manufacturing environments is advantageous.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs for 8-12 hours a day.

Work Environment

Fast-paced manufacturing environment working in teams on production lines. Dress code includes t-shirt, jeans, and steel toe boots. Shifts range from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with additional hours including Saturdays and potential daily overtime.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Beavertown, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
