Hospitalist - Nurse Practitioner OR Physician Assistant - St. Cloud Hospital
As a Hospitalist at St. Cloud Hospital, you will be part of an important team that provides patient care- 24 hours a day, seven days a week. You will have the privilege of seeing patients who are counting on you to be readily available to them and their family members to provide care, answer questions and offer resources. The provider hired in this role will join our hospitalist team of 55 physicians and 10 Advanced Practice Providers.
About Our Practice Setting:
Our Advanced Practice Hospitalists work autonomously on the Observation Unit and work collaboratively with the hospitalist physicians on medical units, progressive units, neuro units, cardiac care units and bone and joint units.
SCHEDULE: 0.9 FTE - 12-hour shifts between the hours of 6:00am-6:30pm and 11:00 am-11:30pm. Every 3rd weekend and rotating holidays.
Requirements:
Completion of a formal nurse practitioner or physician assistant program approved by a national accrediting agency
Certified as a Nurse Practitioner or a Physician Assistant
Current or pending licensure in the State of Minnesota
BLS Certification
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) 6 months, required
3 years direct patient care experience in an acute care environment such as Critical Care, ER, Hospital Medicine or other inpatient specialty required.
Pay and Benefits
Starting pay begins at $123,281.60 per year; exact wage determined by years of related experience
Salary range: $123,281.60 - $158,225.60 per year
Salary and salary range are based on a 1.0 FTE, reduced FTE will result in a prorated offer rate
