This is a fast-paced, execution-driven consulting environment with exposure to top-tier clients. The Role We are hiring a Junior Program Manager to coordinate Agile software delivery for a major U.S. retail client. This is a hands-on execution role focused on Agile delivery processes, internal team coordination, and direct client communication. You will be embedded with a single client account for the first 12–18 months, with opportunities to expand into other projects or accounts afterward. This role is ideal for candidates with junior-level experience in Agile delivery—such as Junior PMs, Scrum Masters, Business Analysts, or Product Owners—who are highly organized, execution-focused, and confident in professional client interactions. Responsibilities Facilitate Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives) Track delivery timelines, dependencies, risks, and follow-ups Support backlog grooming and sprint planning with Product Owners Coordinate across software engineers, QA, and tech leads Maintain Jira and Confluence with accurate, real-time delivery data Prepare and deliver internal and client-facing status reports Escalate blockers or risks early to senior delivery leadership Ideal Candidate Profile 5–8 years of experience in digital or IT project environments Background in junior-level roles such as Project Manager, Scrum Master, Business Analyst, or Product Owner Clear, professional, and confident communicator Comfortable working directly with clients in a polished, high-touch environment Strong familiarity with software development and digital delivery teams Jira and Confluence required; Salesforce a plus Agile/Scrum certifications are a plus, but not required Experience in the retail or luxury space is helpful but not mandatory Work Model Hybrid: Minimum 2 days per week onsite in Flatiron District (Manhattan) More frequent in-office presence is welcome and encouraged A Day in the Life Morning: Agile ceremonies, team syncs, offshore coordination, documentation Afternoon: Project tracking, client meetings, delivery follow-ups, planning What This Role Is This IS: A hands-on, execution-focused delivery coordination role A learning opportunity in digital consulting with premium clients A chance to build Agile experience in a high-touch consulting environment Interview Process HR Screening Agile/Delivery Interview with Program Leadership Offer To Apply Send your resume in confidence to claudelle@cbsmartrecruit.com Qualified candidates will be contacted for next steps.
