Insight Global is hiring a team of 3 Junior User Research Moderators for in person studies onsite in Menlo Park CA.
Schedule: Full Time: Monday-Saturday shifts, 7:30am-4:30pm. This study will run from 10/28/2025 - Thanksgiving week.
Overview:
The ideal candidate will facilitate user research sessions, ensuring participants are comfortable and engaged to gather valuable insights on consumer product devices. This is an in person research study with participants using wearable technology devices. As a moderator, you will have the opportunity to shadow, learn, and help run multiple 1:1 sessions daily to train participants on the device, ask series of questions and document the findings of the study.
Day to Day:
* Provide instructions to participants on wearable devices
*Guide participants through various activities to ensure accurate data collection
*Ask follow-up questions and probing for insights as needed.
* Ensure participant sessions run smoothly by managing timing, recording, and troubleshooting any technical issues.
* Take detailed notes and document participant feedback accurately during and after sessions.
* Collaborate with UX researchers to achieve research objectives and methodologies.
* Maintain a professional and empathetic demeanor to create a positive participant experience in person.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
* Experience in UX research, human-computer interaction, psychology, etc.
* Strong interest in moderating user research studies, facilitating training groups or teaching sessions.
* Microsoft Teams proficiency
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
* Familiarity with usability testing tools and platforms.
* Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methods.
