Job Summary This role is responsible for increasing customer confidence and loyalty by providing courteous and prompt service, consistent operating conditions and a friendly atmosphere. Essential Responsibilities Compliance (50%) Observes customers and checks identification for age verification, identifying customers who should not be served additional alcohol and monitoring customers to assist in the prevention of open containers leaving the store. Deny sale of alcohol or tobacco to underage or intoxicated customers. Customer Excellence (25%) Provides continuous attention to customers' needs; greets, assists, and thanks customers in a prompt, courteous, and friendly manner; offers product suggestions when appropriate. Operational Excellence (25%) Stocks and rotates department products to ensure freshness and date control; restocks and uses supply items efficiently to eliminate waste and maintain low supply cost; operates department equipment, cashiering equipment accurately, and maintains a clean, safe workspace. Qualifications Required Education High School / GED Preferred Education High School / GED Diploma Language Requirements English; preferred Spanish Relevant Experience 0 - 3 years minimum, no supervisory experience Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• TIPS Training required prior to start date
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English; follow instructions
• Authorization to work in the United States or ability to obtain it
• Successful completion of pre‑employment drug test and background check
• Compliance with all company policies and procedures

Environmental Factors Retail – General. Physical demands include standing or walking, manual dexterity, reaching, lifting up to 250 lbs, occasional kneeling, crouching, and operating equipment in various indoor, outdoor, cold, heating, and wet/humid conditions.
