KEY FOCUS:

DB2 DBA with z/OS – financial/Investment domain highly preferred

Hybrid in Malvern, PA ( Open to Relocation Candidates too)

Long Term Contract w/ possibility to Convert.

Responsibilities

• Adopt the given technology to meet the drift of customer and business requirements
• Manages DB2 table changes to support application design and development efforts.
• Responsible for application database backups, reorgs, migration between environments.
• Supports Custom Archive purge procedures and jobs as required.
• Uses Change Control procedures for system changes that impact the DB2 database instances that support CICS, DB2 stored procedures or packages, or other environments, e.g. Batch job submission.
• Lead DB2 Application support for Disaster Recovery
• Manage, review, and communicates database projects with the Application, Infrastructure,
• Support and maintain production to test database downloads.
• Handles Reporting as requested.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Minimum 10+ years of experience in Mainframe DB2 DBA Administration.
• Proven knowledge on Db2 performance and tuning.
• Ensure high availability of infrastructure.
• Expertise on DB2 for z/OS administration
• Proficient in all version upgrades

• Proficient in working with high availability environment along with alignment to process (ITIL)
