Overview Network Security Engineer Washington, DC. Hybrid contract. Location: On-site at Client HQ Washington, DC (Hybrid: 3 days per week). Clearance: Public trust or ability to obtain one. Contract Salary: $60/hr - $70/hr A growing cyber security consulting firm is seeking a Network Security Engineer with strong experience in both network engineering and cybersecurity to support enterprise infrastructure and threat defense operations. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and defending secure network architectures, with an emphasis on threat detection, analysis, and response. Youll work closely with SOC teams and provide strategic guidance on network-related security operations, tools, and protocols.
