Position Overview:

You will be an integral part of our healthcare team, assisting in a variety of nursing care services under the guidance of experienced registered nurses. This program is designed for nursing students who wish to gain practical experience while furthering their education and preparing for nursing roles.

Eligibility: All candidates must be actively enrolled in an accredited nursing school, have completed their fundamentals of nursing course and first clinical rotation, with a graduation date within the next 18 months.

Flexible Scheduling: Commit to a minimum of 24 hours over four weeks, allowing for flexibility to accommodate your academic schedule.

Compensation: Enjoy a competitive hourly rate of $18.00.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in patient care tasks based on competencies gained in nursing school under the direction of a registered nurse.
• Monitor patient conditions by taking vital signs and observing changes in behavior.
• Aim to create a positive patient experience by providing assistance with daily living activities.
• Support healthcare excellence by assisting with procedures and maintaining accurate documentation.
• Communicate effectively with team members and patients, establishing a compassionate care environment.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Frequent lifting and the ability to assist with patient mobility.

Qualifications:

• Must hold Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider certification (BLS HCP) by the American Heart Association.
• No prior nursing experience required.
