Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented paralegal/legal admin to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of estate planning, elder law, and related legal practices. This role requires excellent organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, and a commitment to providing exceptional support to our attorneys and clients.

Responsibilities

  • Assist attorneys in the preparation and filing of probate documents, Medicaid applications, and estate planning materials.
  • Manage case files, ensuring all documents are accurately filed and maintained in compliance with legal standards.
  • Contact clients to gather necessary information for case management.
  • Maintain communication with clients regarding case status and required documentation.
  • Organize and manage schedules for court appearances, meetings, and deadlines.

Skills

  • Proven office experience.
  • Experience with spreadsheets necessary.
  • Strong proofreading abilities to ensure accuracy in all written materials.
  • Effective project management skills to handle multiple cases simultaneously.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in filing and document management.
  • Experience with data entry and clerical tasks within a law office environment.
  • Strong phone etiquette for client interactions and correspondence.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our clients through effective probate and elder law services.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $24.00 - $29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
