As a Service Technician with Benjamin Franklin Plumbing , you will play a crucial role in delivering top-notch plumbing services to our valued customers. Your responsibilities will encompass performing precise repairs and installations, ensuring every job is completed with the utmost efficiency and professionalism. You will also actively contribute to sales by identifying customer needs and offering solutions that benefit both the customer and the company. Safety and customer satisfaction are at the core of everything we do, and you’ll be expected to uphold our high standards in every task you undertake.

• Deliver exceptional plumbing services , prioritizing customer satisfaction in every interaction.
• Perform repairs and installations with skill and attention to detail.
• Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell services or products that would benefit the customer.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and integrity in all customer and team interactions.
• Foster and maintain lasting relationships with customers by actively listening to their concerns and providing tailored solutions.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance on every job site, adhering to all plumbing codes and company protocols.
• Proactively respond to customer needs , providing recommendations based on their requirements and budget.
• Assist customers in understanding complex plumbing issues and offer solutions in a clear and approachable manner.
• Meet and exceed sales targets by identifying additional services and products that align with customer needs.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a plumber with a strong technical background and a commitment to customer education .
• Proven ability to explain plumbing issues clearly to customers, offering them not only immediate solutions to their problems but also providing preventative recommendations to avoid future issues.
• A sales-oriented mindset , understanding that explaining options and solutions to customers in an informative and consultative manner is essential to demonstrating your technical expertise.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record .
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen .
• Familiarity with safety protocols and a commitment to adhering to safety regulations.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and a thorough understanding of plumbing systems.
• Outstanding communication and customer service skills , with a focus on upselling and providing added value.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.

• Strong customer-focused mindset with the ability to listen to their needs and explain why certain solutions are beneficial for their long-term plumbing health
• Proven ability to recommend additional services or upgrades based on customer needs, helping them understand the value and benefits of these options for their home
• Excellent customer communication focused on respect, professionalism, and trust-building.
• Skilled in diagnosing plumbing issues efficiently while recommending upgrades and additional services.
• Sound judgment and decision-making capabilities.
• Adaptable with a willingness to continuously learn new techniques and improve customer engagement.
• Ability to build long-term customer relationships through exceptional service and value.
