Shift: Nights 8:00 PM to 6 AM 3 to 4 nights per week
Pay: $45 to $55 per hour

Position Overview
We are urgently seeking an experienced Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) for a full-time night shift position at a sleep lab in Rhinebeck, NY. This role involves conducting sleep studies 34 nights per week (8:00 PM6:00 AM) to provide high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
Patient Information Analysis: Collect and analyze patient data (medical/social history, physical/mental limitations, emotional/physiological status) to determine testing needs and protocols in collaboration with physicians and clinical directors.
Documentation: Complete and verify patient records, explaining pre-testing, testing, and post-testing procedures.
Equipment Preparation: Calibrate and adjust testing equipment to ensure proper functionality.
Patient Setup: Apply electrodes, sensors, and positive airway pressure (PAP) masks per published standards; perform physiologic calibrations for accurate signals.
Testing Protocols: Execute procedures including Multiple Sleep Latency Test (MSLT), Maintenance of Wakefulness Test (MWT), parasomnia studies, PAP, and oxygen titration to collect accurate data.
Data Acquisition: Monitor and document polysomnographic data every 20 minutes, recording sleep stages, clinical events, body position, SaO2 values, heart rate, respiratory rate, and procedure changes.
Quality Assurance: Ensure artifact-free study tracings and adjust signals as needed.
Video Monitoring: Verify patient video recordings align with laboratory protocols.
Job Requirements
Education: High school diploma and completion of an accredited Polysomnography program required.
Certification/Licenses:
o Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) certification required.
o Valid New York State License (Polysomnography) required.
o Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required.
Experience: Continuous RPSGT work history with no gaps exceeding two months.
Other: Proof of immunizations required; must meet federal employment eligibility requirements (E-Verify participation).
Schedule
Full-time, 34 nights per week, 8:00 PM6:00 AM.
