Job Summary Super Micro Computer, Inc. is currently seeking a Project Manager who will be responsible for both pre and post technical sales activities in new and existing opportunities. The candidate will be an individual contributor working closely with Engineering, Sales and Extended teams to ensure the overall technical design proposal meets customer requirements. The Project Manager is the critical role to ensure success in our projects, from designing a rack system to verifying all components work together for our customers. A successful Project Manager must possess strong resource management skills and be an effective communicator to promote a product, service, or end-result. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Work with Business Development Managers, Sales, Field Application Engineers, and customers for rack system products’ project management Coordinate cross-department efforts to ensure customer satisfaction and timely issue resolution Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, and Operations to understand business requirements and deliver products, services, and results Design rack systems including server systems, switches, power distribution units, and network cables Define escalation paths for projects and drive on-time delivery Improve existing processes to reduce redundancy and increase effectiveness Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in electrical or computer-related engineering field with 2+ years’ professional experience in computer systems, rack systems, or project/product management is a plus Familiarity with server, storage, switch, and data center products and services is a plus Experience in Linux, Networking and virtualization is a plus Good communication and presentation skills Strong organizational and communication skills Some domestic and international travel required Please note: This position requires regular in-office attendance. The successful candidate is expected to be present in the office during standard working hours and participate in on-site collaboration and team meetings depending on the designated office location. Salary Range $70,000 - $148,000. The offered salary depends on factors such as location, level, education, training, skills, and experience, and may include bonus and equity programs along with a comprehensive benefits package.
