SAP BW with 5-6 years of experience
Strong analytics skills to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions
Great problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot issues and optimize performance
Willingness to continues learning and staying updated with the latest trends in technology. Knowledge and hands on writing SQL scripts, User exits, should have ABAP knowledge, ABAP Debugging experience to write and debug BW routines.
Experience or Knowledge in creating BeX reports and Business objects dashboards
Developing and handling hybrid scenarios - BW data models and HANA views as per the requirement.
Designing the data solution to satisfy defined business requirements.
BW ODS Objects, BW Data Marts, ADSO Modelling, Generic Data Source, Open ODS,BW Process Models, BW Enterprise Models and transport management.
This role should also address other critical data design issues such as:
Granularity of data and the potential for multiple levels of granularity
Some prefer requirements would be:
Knowledge of newer data platforms such as Microsoft Fabric, SAP Data Warehouse Cloud, Google BigQuery, Snowflake, or Azure Synapse Analytics.
Experience integrating BW with cloud-based data platforms
Understanding of data lake architecture and data lakehouse concept Experience in SAP BW on Hana with 2-3 implementation experience and involved in modelling and optimization scenarios including Hybrid scenarios.
