Job Summary:
\nWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate School Psychologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide psychological services that support the academic, social, emotional, and behavioral success of students. This role will collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student well-being, ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, and contribute to creating safe and inclusive learning environments.
Responsibilities:
\n\nConduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to identify students’ strengths, needs, and eligibility for special education services.
\n\t\n\tProvide counseling, intervention, and crisis response services to students as needed.
\n\t\n\tCollaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement evidence-based interventions that support learning and behavior.
\n\t\n\tContribute to the development, review, and monitoring of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Section 504 Plans.
\n\t\n\tConsult with staff and families regarding student progress, classroom strategies, and mental health supports.
\n\t\n\tCollect and analyze data to inform decision-making and measure intervention effectiveness.
\n\t\n\tEnsure compliance with state and federal guidelines, including IDEA and Section 504.
\n\t\n\tPromote social-emotional learning and mental health awareness across the school community.
\n\t\nQualifications:
\n\nMaster’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology (Doctorate preferred).
\n\t\n\tValid state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist.
\n\t\n\tKnowledge of psychological assessments, special education law, and evidence-based interventions.
\n\t\n\tStrong interpersonal, communication, and consultation skills.
\n\t\n\tAbility to work effectively with diverse student populations, staff, and families.
