About the Role

The Company is seeking a Senior Counsel - Labor & Employment to join their dynamic Legal & Corporate Affairs team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic guidance and support on a wide range of labor and employment matters, both routine and complex. This includes serving as a point of contact for human resources, offering expert support on US labor and employment issues, and managing employment litigation. The role involves advising on day-to-day employment-related matters, staying abreast of legislative trends, conducting legal research, and representing the company at various administrative levels. The Senior Counsel will also be involved in proactive training, managing outside counsel, and ensuring legal compliance in line with corporate goals. Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree, a Juris Doctor from an accredited law school, and be admitted to a state Bar with in-house admission in Arizona. A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is required, with a strong preference for those with prior in-house experience. The ideal candidate will have a background in defending wage and hour class actions, labor experience, and a focus on compliance and risk mitigation. The role demands excellent communication skills, the ability to provide high-level legal counsel, and a strong business acumen. The company values a culture of belonging and encourages candidates who may not meet all the requirements to apply, as they may still be the ideal fit for the position.
