full-time Shipping and Receiving Associate APEX Piping Systems, Inc. is a leading Mechanical Industrial, Commercial, and Institutional Contractor located in Newport DE, specializing in the fabrication and installation of plumbing, HVAC, sheet metal fabrication, duct, clean rooms, process piping, pipe bending, pressure vessel, heat exchangers, modular systems, boilers and ASME Code welding. Join the APEX Team. QUALIFICATIONS - Minimum Qualification H.S Diploma, Valid driver's license, pass periodic drug screens
- Proficient in email, Microsoft Office Suite, computer applications and math skills
- Must be able to speak, read and write in English
- Ability to use measuring tapes, hand, air, and power tools
- Able to read and follow directions, instructions, and procedures
- Experience using a forklift, pallet jack and other material handling equipment.
- Experience in material handling and storage of raw and finished goods
- Experience offloading trucks, securing, and transporting loads
- Commitment to safety and professionalism
- Friendly, outgoing with terrific communication skills.
- Organized and has great pride in your work product.
- Detail oriented and believes in doing the job right the first time.
