Title: Shipping & Receiving Clerk
Location: Itasca, IL
Pay: $20-$22/hr (1st Shift, OT Available)
Contract-to-Hire

Overview:
We're seeking a detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Clerk to support daily shipping operations at our Itasca manufacturing facility. This position involves hands-on FedEx and UPS labeling, ERP data entry, and maintaining accurate documentation in Excel. The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, and experienced in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and track shipments using FedEx and UPS systems.
• Enter order numbers and shipment details into the ERP system.
• Read and interpret blueprints to assist with sorting and identifying parts.
• Maintain shipping records, documentation, and tracking spreadsheets in Excel.
• Coordinate with production and quality teams to ensure shipment accuracy and on-time delivery.
• Organize shipping areas and packaging materials.
• Assist with continuous improvement initiatives for process efficiency.

Requirements:

• Experience with FedEx and UPS shipping systems and documentation.
• ERP experience for order entry and tracking.
• Strong Excel skills for documentation and data tracking.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment (not warehouse).
• Dependable and willing to work overtime as needed.
