All Phase Electric Service has an immediate need for a LICENSED NATURAL GAS AND LIQUID PETROLEUM Q1 OR Q5 QUALIFIER INSTALLER- FORMAN  to meet our current contract requirements in the rapidly growing Fort Myers, FL area. Because we have a reputation of getting the job done, we are requested to do unique, one-of-a-kind projects. Due to our recent success in this industry and a growing workload, we have an immediate need for people with can-do attitudes that want to work on residential, commercial and industrial projects.

 

Required Skills: The installer needs to possess the following experience:

• Candidates will be required a minimum 3 years of experience in the GAS trade.
• Generac Generator training or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Candidate must have extensive excavator experience and appropriate training.
• Must hold and or have passed a current Q1 OR Q5 MASTER QUALIFIER LICENSE FOR THE STATE OF FLORIDA.
• Candidate must have the ability to troubleshoot gas leaks and do repairs on gas lines. Candidate must be meticulous in his/her work while having customer consideration in mind.
• Candidate must be meticulous in cleaning work site. Candidate must have the ability to work alone.
• Candidate must be able to size gas pipes, regulators, projects and produce and read isometric drawings.
• Candidate must be able to use a variety of tools or equipment, such as power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools and testing equipment such as manometers, tank testers and gas leak detectors.
• Candidate must be able to inspect LP and NG gas systems, equipment and or components to identify hazards, defects, or the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with local codes.
• Candidate shall have the ability to direct and train workers to install, repair and maintain gas lines and equipment.
• Candidate must be able to diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus or components, including regulators, using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of the breakdown and correct the problem. 
• Candidate must perform business management duties such as maintaining records or files, preparing reports, or ordering supplies and equipment.
• Candidate plus would be a CDL license.
• Tank burial procedure a big plus.
• Candidate must not be afraid to get his/hers hands dirty.
• Candidate must be able to drop gas lines for BBQ’s and gas features, etc.
